The company is going to implement blue badge instead of green badges on business and verified channels. This feature is development and will also be available soon to iOS users. The company has already brought the feature on Android. META is going to take this step towards giving its platform verified accounts a similar look. Not only WhatsApp, this change is being made on Facebook and Instagram to show the verified accounts with the same color badge.

Whatsapp iOS users will also start seeing blue badges for verified channels. According to WABETAINFO’s report, Whatsapp is now going to bring verified business and channels in blue tick like other platforms of Meta. So that the verified channels look in the same color on all the platforms of the meta. This will deepen the authenticity of the channel in the eyes of the users, and the users will not be confused by the badges of different colors.

Users on Whatsapp, FB, and Instagram will be able to identify verified accounts immediately. By downloading the latest version of Whatsapp Beta on iOS, some users can check this feature. It has not been released for all users yet. This feature is expected to reach all users in the coming weeks.

Talking about other important updates related to WhatsApp, soon the company is going to add a big feature in the platform regarding AI. Whatsapp for Android is allegedly doing a new feature test for its recently added Artificial Intelligence Chatbott, Meta AI. This feature will allow users to send voice messages to the chatbot. It is being said that Meta is also capable of responding to AI messages, although in text format. This feature is allegedly being released for a small group of beta testers. Whatsapp can rollout it for a large userbase in the coming weeks.
