Whatsapp Making Telephone Touch Sync Toggle for Connected Gadgets Says Document


WhatsApp is preparing a new privacy-related feature for the management of the contact sympathetic for Android. According to the information shared by the feature tracker, this feature can add new functions to the multi-cucumber feature that allows users to use two WhatsApp accounts on the same device without using parallel apps. With this change, users can choose how they want to sink their address book contact. It is based on other beta features recently introduced on WhatsApp for Android, which includes a new shortcut to make all chats reed marking at once.

According to feature tracker WABetaInfo, contact syncing feature will allow users to manage the synchronization of their address book on using WhatsApp on many devices. It was seen on WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.18.14. When it is finally rolled out, users will allegedly be able to select the contact they want to sink from their phone for many accounts. According to the screenshot shared by the feature tracker, it is seen with a new UI with information to keep its contact separate for each account. Apart from the contact syncing management, it also acts as a feature to manage WhatsApp contact from a device linked to users.

WABETAINFO claims that the new shortcut is still underway and is not available for registered beta testers through Google Play Beta Program. It can be rolled out with the upcoming updates of WhatsApp for Android. However, it is worth noting that WhatsApp can work on many new features, but not all of them fall in the public version of the app.

WhatsApp Chat Management

Whatsapp is testing another feature for better management of chat on Android. After its rollout, users may have the option to clean all the messages by marking all messages as reed with a new option seen in overflow menu on the right corner on the top of the screen. It is also estimated that it is working on a uniform ‘Mark Reid’ feature on the iOS version of the app, as the messaging platform usually provides feature equality in its app for iOS and Android smartphones.
