What Happened Before This Chapter?
The new season wasted no time getting back to war. Asta and the Magic Knights are deep in the Spade Kingdom Raid, fighting to rescue captured captains Yami and Vangeance from the Dark Triad — Dante, Vanica, and Zenon Zogratis — before the trio can open the way to the underworld.
Last week’s fighting gave the heroes their first breakthrough. After a fierce hand-to-hand battle, Magna Swing beat Dante, the strongest-seeming sibling. That proves the Dark Triad can be beaten and leaves only two of the trio standing — but it does not make the remaining fights easier.
Vanica remains a nightmare opponent: she wields blood magic and uses demonic power, channelled through talisman magic, to control Lolopechka, the abducted Heart Kingdom ruler, forcing her to attack Charlotte and Lil. That is the battlefield Noelle walks into — not a clean duel, but a hostage situation inside a magic fight.
Noelle’s New Power, Explained
This is the heart of the new chapter. As Noelle and Gaja arrive, Noelle counters the demonic power against her by borrowing the power of Undine, the water spirit, and acquiring a new magic called “Sanctuary”.
Longtime viewers will recognise the foundation: Noelle’s water magic already lets her cast Valkyrie Dress, covering her body in armour made entirely of water. The synopsis teases that form taken to its next level — a holy, spirit-blessed version of that armour. The title gives it away: the Holy Valkyrie, presented as her most powerful form yet.
Why does this matter beyond spectacle? Noelle’s whole arc has been about control: she began as a royal who could not control her magic at all, and every step since has been about discipline and trust in her squad. A form borrowed from a spirit’s power, rather than forced from her own, fits that journey — proof of how far she has come.
When and Where to Watch in India
Crunchyroll is the confirmed international home for the simulcast, including India. New chapters arrive weekly on Saturdays, following the TV Tokyo broadcast, with subtitles landing almost immediately afterwards.
One warning on IST timing: guides mostly list 8:00 a.m. Pacific / 11:00 a.m. Eastern, converting to around 8:30 p.m. IST, but one tracker lists US times an hour earlier after daylight saving ended on 1 November. Check the Crunchyroll page on Saturday evening rather than trusting a single conversion.
An English dub is also rolling out weekly on Crunchyroll, having started on 17 October 2026. Sources disagree on the total episode count, from 24 to a 24–26 range across two cours, so this guide asserts no final number.
Why This Chapter Could Change the Raid
Magna’s win was a statement, but statements do not win wars. If Noelle can hold her own against Vanica — and break Vanica’s control over Lolopechka — the raid gains momentum on two fronts at once, turning separate struggles into a coordinated push.
