Pager is a small and portable communication device, in which short messages can be received and sent with the help of radio frequency signals. These messages are usually neumric and alfonumic. When mobile phones did not become popular, Pager used to be an important tool of communication. It was public from doctors to journalists.
How do you work?
When a large -scale pages used to be used, their functioning was easy. With the help of radio waves, a message is sent from the pager, which was received, a beep was heard in its pager. In 1949, American inventor Alfred Gross patented the first pager. However, Pager Word was first registered by Motorola in 1959.
Moto created its first pager, in 1964 under the name of Pageboy 1 (Pageboy 1). Over time, they also became imprisoned and in the 80s, pages equipped with small screen started coming, in which the message could be seen on the device itself. According to reports, in 1994, 6 crore pages were in trend worldwide. In the 90s, the pages slowly started losing their brightness with the arrival of mobile phones. However, they are still being used today.
