Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is also preparing to bring a smartphone with a battery capacity in the range of 8,500 mAh to 9,000 mAh. Silicon-carbon technology will be used for the battery of these smartphones, so that the capacity of its battery can be increased without increasing the thickness of smartphones.

The tipster Digital Chat Station has stated in a post on China’s microblogging platform Weibo that a smartphone of Redmi can be brought with 8,500 mAh to 9,000 mAh battery capacity. A Prophemthry technology will be used for this. This can occur with an upgraded version of the silicon-carbon composite. It has been reported that the company is trying to increase its capacity without impacting the battery running period. Along with this, the thickness of the smartphone will also be kept less than 8.5 mm.

If this claim is correct, then this smartphone will have the largest battery in the company’s current portfolio. A recent report stated that Redmi’s Redmi Turbo 5 Professional can soon be launched with a battery of 8,000 mAh. The company’s Turbo 4 Professional was introduced with a 7,500 mAh battery. Xiaomi’s Rival Honor can also bring a smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery. This can be Honor Energy 2. This smartphone can replace the Honor Energy introduced in April. This smartphone has an 8,000 mAh battery using silicon-carbon technology.
