Display
The new Xiaomi Mi5S has a 5.15-inch full-HD display. The same size screen was also used in Xiaomi Mi 5. The pixel density of M5 and M5S is 428 PPI. It is worth noting that a pressure sensitive display has been given in the variant of M5S’s 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. However, the company has not explained anything about the additional interface option to be present in this particular display.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus has a 5.7-inch full-HD display. Its pixel density is 386 PPI.
Processor, memory and storage
Snapdragon 821 processor has been used in M5S and Mi5S Plus. However, the clock speed of both processors is slightly different. The clock speed of the M5S is 2.15 GHz and 2.3 GHz of the M5S Plus. Remember that the Mi 5 was launched with a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

Xiaomi has also claimed that it works accurate and rapidly like a common fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor in Xiaomi Mi5S Plus is present on the rear panel.

Camera
The Xiaomi Mi5S has a 12 -megapixel rear camera equipped with Sony IMX 378 Seamos sensor, F/ 2.0 aperture and PDAF. With this camera you will also be able to record videos of 4K resolution. Its front panel has a 4 -megapixel camera which is equipped with a large 2 micron pixels. Xiaomi has reported that the M5S comes with an ultra-light sensitive camera.
The M5S Plus has a dual-camera setup. The job of one camera is to take colorful photos and the other’s black and white photos. And eventually better color is to give accuracy and depth sensing. Both the sensors are of 13 megapixels. They will come with PDAF, HDR, RAW image support and dual-LED flash. It also has a 4 megapixel front camera. The M5 smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera which is equipped with optical image stabilization, F/ 2.0 aperture and two-tone flash. The 4 -megapixel front camera is also a part of this handset.
Battery
Talking about the battery, the battery capacity has been increased in M5S and M5S Plus compared to M5. The M5S has a 3200 mAh battery and the M5S Plus has a 3800 mAh battery. Remember that the M5 phone comes with a 3000 mAh battery.

The new M5S and Mi5S Plus have a metal brushed body. The dimensions of M5S are 145.6×70.3×8.2 mm and weigh 145 grams. At the same time, the dimensions of M5 are 144.5×69.2×7.2 millimeters and weighs 129 grams. The dimensions of M5S Plus are 154.6×77.7×7.9 millimeters and weigh 168 grams. Both SIM slots support 4G in M5S and Mi5S Plus
