PM Modi announced M-Yoga app for yoga lovers


On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the M-Yoga App today. The Government of India has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) to announce this new app. This app will include yoga tutorials in various languages. At the moment, all the information related to this app has not been made public nor has it been clear when this app will be lived on the app store for download.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the M-Yoga app is ‘a great example of modern technology and ancient science fusion.’ He also hoped that this M-Yoga app would play an important role in spreading yoga around the world and making the efforts of ‘One International One Condition’. The M-Yoga app will include yoga training-based videos, this video will be available for watching and understanding in many languages.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned the role of yoga during the Korona virus epidemic and said that during this time his enthusiasm towards yoga has increased ten times more. He informed that in order to keep the human respiratory system strong, breathing actions like Pranayama and Anulom-Antonym are very important.

During his speech, PM Modi said, “One of the major components of yoga dare to face adverse conditions. The Korona virus epidemics started stepping into any abilities, resources and mental firmness. Yoga helped people increase confidence and strength to fight the worldwide.”

Let me tell you, a few years ago in the year 2017, the Government of India announced an app called ‘Celebrating Yoga’. The app was launched by Union Minister of Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan. This app was designed for an event for enthusiastic and practicing people towards yoga. However, this app is not available for download on Google Play Store at the moment.
