Wabetainfo, the website tracking WhatsApp features, has given information about these new features. The screenshot of the cashback feature present in the report shows that WhatsApp will inform users about the opportunity to earn cashback. The report says that the cashback will be transferred to the user’s account within 48 hours. It also claimed that the cashback is currently limited to Rs 10, but this amount may change before the official release.
According to the report, cashback will be available only on UPI payment in India. It is not clear which users will get this cashback, or which other conditions will apply. This feature is seen in Whatsapp Beta 2.21.20.3 for Android.
Earlier, it was seen in Whatsapp Beta 2.21.20.2 for Android that the company is developing a new group icon editor feature. This will give users an option to create an icon for the group. Users will also be able to choose the background color of the icon. Because this feature is currently being developed, facilities like emoji and stickers have not been seen yet, but they are also likely to be involved in the editing option in the future.
The WhatsApp group is also working on re -designing the Info page, introducing chat and call button in the front and center. This new design was seen in Whatsapp Beta 2.21.190.15 for iOS. The new design will bring a very large button for chat, audio and video calls. Even the share button will be put forward to easily share the invoice link for all the admin of the group.
