Apart from this, there is also the fear of the phone being stolen. Do you know that after the phone is stolen, a mistake should access your mail, photo or other sensitive data.
Sometimes it happens that you have forgotten the unlock pattern or password. Or someone changed the unlock pattern in the name of joking with you. What will you do in such a situation?
Android device manager is the easiest way to get a diagnosis from this problem. For this, it is necessary that it is installed on your Android device, that too before the phone is locked.
Unlock through Android device manager
1. We have already told you that this method will work only on the Android device in which Android device manager is active. It is worth noting that when you setup your Android handset through your Gmail account, this feature automatically becomes active. By the way, you can activate it by going to the security option inside Google Settings on your mobile.
2. Now go to Google.com/android/devicemanager webpage in the Internet browser of a computer or a mobile phone.
3. After this, login with the same Google ID which you used to setup your Android phone.
4. After this, choose the device in the interface of ADM whose unlock pattern you want to delete.
5. After this select ‘Lock’.
6. Now a popup window will open. Add a temporary password here. Giving recovery messages and phone number is optional. After this, click on ‘Lock’ again.
7. If this process is successful, then you will see a message written in the box below the ring, lock and erease button.
8. Now you will be able to see a password field on your phone. Use temporary passwords made some time ago. By doing this you will be able to unlock your phone.
9. Before using the phone again with Befikri, once again go to the lock screen settings inside the phone’s settings and disable the temporary password.
(It is worth noting that we used the above methods on Motorola Moto X Play, Lenovo Vibe X3 and Micromax Canvas Unite 3. This allowed us to only unlock the Micromax handset.)
If the same happens to you, then there is no other option but to reset the phone to the phone.
Earn your device completely
You can completely disappear your device’s data with the help of Android device manager. After removing the data, you can again setup your device from your Google account. Apart from this, you can also make new screen lock. You will be able to do this only when you have activated the Android device manager in your device.
Keep in mind that all data will disappear when using this method, such as apps, photos and music. The data stored in your Google account will be restored, but the apps and their related data will disappear completely. In such a situation, we will suggest you to backup data. These suggestions will come in your work in this regard.
1. Open google.com/android/devicemanager page in browser.
2. Sign in from the Google account used to setup on Android devices.
3. If you are connected to more than one device with your ID, then choose the right device.
4. After this choose the erase. By doing this, all the data will be deleted from your phone.
5. After doing this, you can once again setup your mobile through Google account. And this time choose a little easy pattern lock.
Suppose your handset does not have an Android device manager, then you only have the option to hard reset.
You can use “recovery mode” to fully format your device.
(It is known that if you never give your device response during this process, then you can restart your phone by pressing the power button for a few seconds.)
1. If your device is on, switch off it.
2. Press the volume down button. During this time, press the power button until the phone switch is turned on. After this you will see the word “Start” on which an arrow would be pointing.
3. You can go using the volume down button until the next option. After this reach “Recovery Mode”.
4. Press the power button to start the recovery mode. After this you will see Android robot. In this image, you will see a red colored amazing relationship. (You may also see “No Command”.)
5. Press the power button. Press the volume up button once while pressing the power button. After this, remove the fingers from the power button.
6. After this, press the volume down until you reach the “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” option. After this, press the power button.
7. After this, press the volume down button until “yes” (or “yes – delete all user data”) cannot reach the option. Now choose this option by pressing the power button.
8. After the reset is complete, choose the power button and choose “Reboot System Now”.
Now your phone is completely formated. Now you can restore data.
(Users using Nexus device should keep in mind that before resetting you have to tell Google ID and Password. Google has done it to ensure that no other person resumes the phone.)
Users using Android of Android 4.4 or older versions can also remove their phone’s unlock pattern through Google ID and password.
1. After putting the wrong password on your phone several times, you will get the option of Forgot pattern. Tap on it.
2. When asked, enter the user name and password of your Google account, which you used to log on to the device.
3. After this reset the screen lock of your handset.
