According to a news agency report, all fact checkers are members of the international fact checking network. Fact checkers wrote that displaying information related to fact-checking is more effective than removing content. These fact checkers have also requested YouTube to take action against those who violate the rules repeatedly and intensify efforts against misinformation in other languages other than English.

Talking in the context of India, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had ordered the 20 YouTube channels and two websites that spread fake news and block two websites. Two orders were issued by the ministry. In one of these, YouTube was instructed to block 20 channels and stop websites in others. Content was posted on these YouTube channels on issues like demonstrations, citizenship (amendment) laws. Along with this, they were also trying to incite minorities against the central government.
