What will happen to the target of being planned to enter NFT and Metavors?

YouTube is ready to integrate elements such as non-funny tokens (NFT) and metavors into its platform. YouTube, with two billion users worldwide, will also place bets in ‘Web3 Bandwagon’. The web3 will be supported by blockchain technology. It is also considered to be the internet of the future. YouTube Chief Product Officers, Neil Mohan wrote in a blog post that the reason is to connect the artist deeply with his audience, for which youtube web 3 and its element want to be compatible with the emerging world. He said that all artists will also be able to make money in ways which were not possible earlier.

YouTube wants to let people be the ‘owner’ of creator content as NFT. However, the copyright of the content will not transfer to its buyer. Apart from this, YouTube is making many preparations. He is working to make gaming more interactive with metavors integration. It is a virtual world and is also a concept of metavors. Here people will be able to talk to such people who are present in virtual avatar.

Neil Mohan said that we are wondering how to make viewing more attractive. The first sector in this case is gaming. More impact can be made here. We will work on making it more real to bring more interaction to the game. He said that we are excited to see how we can turn the virtual world into reality.

Even though YouTube is moving in this direction, many issues remain. Environmental concerns about NFT mining continue. It is against Google’s ambition to be ‘carbon free’ by 2030. The company’s CEO Sundar Pichai said in the year 2020 that we are the first major company to commit a commitment to work on carbon-free energy in our data centers and campus around the world. We are working to complete it by 2030.

In the year 2021, the NFT cell crossed $ 25 billion (about Rs 1,84,700 crore). This means that this sector is sure to have more carbon emissions. YouTube is also getting some response from the creators on social media, who want their content not to be given tokens for sale.
