Tiktok will return to India, by -tednce in partnership with Indian company

Chinese video sharing app Tiktok has long been banned in India. Apart from its app, the Government of India banned several other Chinese apps in June 2020. Now, according to the latest media reports, the original company of the world is preparing to hit the entry back in India. For its return to India, the company is allegedly planning to partner with real estate veteran Hiranandani Team of Indian origin. It would not be wrong to assume that bytedance would be taking this step to keep itself out of the government’s supervision.

Financial Institutes report says that bytedance is trying to hit the entry again through partnership with Hiranandani Team in India. As we said, Tiktok, the company’s most popular app, was banned with 58 other apps in the country about two years ago due to national security concerns. Although Tiktok is still extremely popular all over the world, there is no doubt that India is one of the largest markets for bytedance.

Reports suggest that Hiranandani team runs data center operations under Yotta Infrastructure Answers in the country and recently launched Tez Platforms, a technology-based consumer service platform. The report further states that the company wants to invest Rs 3,500 crore in this new business in the next two years.

However, the report also states that this conversation between Bytedance and Hiranandani Team is still in the initial stage. Bytedens have informally informed the central government about this partnership and its intention of re -entry in the country.
