According to Amazon, the pace of payment with ‘Amazon Pay’ in the cell accelerated. One in every three customers used UPI as Amazon Pay as a payment method. This is 20 percent more than last year. During the sale, flight booking, hotel bookings also saw a surge.
People also took membership of Amazon Prime and used it. Amazon says that there was a lot of increase in demand for 5G smartphones of Rs 10,000. People expressed confidence in the brands of Realme, IQO and Xiaomi. Big screen TVs sold more of Samsung, Xiaomi and Sony. The laptop’s ear-on-year sale increased by 30 per cent and the demand for Intel i3, i5 and i7 models was high.
According to Amazon, in terms of premium products, the most ear on year growth in the smartphone segment. Apple and Samsung’s premium tablet saw an increase in demand up to 10 times. Large capacity washing machines and refrigerators’ cell growth ear-on-ear in home appliances was 30 per cent.
70 per cent of premium smartphones were in cities below and below it. More than 50 percent of TV Tier 2 and Tier 3 were taken in cities. Large appliances in Tier 2 cities saw a growth of 25 per cent in the sale.
