Google is gearing up to plagued the developers of the apps on their play store who harass users in some way or the other. According to Devices Now, the company will release a new policy for its Android operating system store, which directly targets copying apps. This means that now unauthorized apps will not be able to use the national symbols and people of government organizations.
In addition, the report says improper developers will not be allowed to use the company’s logo or any artist or TV show photos. Often apps resort to their pictures to prove themselves associated with these people or institutions. This policy will be implemented from 31 August.
Regarding this policy, Google says, “We do not allow apps that disguise someone else mislead users (for example, no other developer, company, unit) or any other app.”
