In a post on the social media platform X, ISRO was told that “Youth Science Program- 2024 is now open for registration. The registration will start from 20 February 2024.
Who can register
According to ISRO, students of class 9 (till 1 January 2024) studying in India are eligible for this. For registration, you can click on this link- jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/yuvika.
This program will last for two weeks. According to PTI report, ISRO has prepared the program to woo young students. Through the program, students will be encouraged to make career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem) based research.
Follow these steps for registration
- Go to ISRO’s space curiosity platform jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/registration.
- After registration, a verification link will come on your registered e-mail, click on it and confirm the email.
- After this you have to participate in a spaceques.
- Complete your personal profile and fill educational details.
- Students will have to get their certificate photocopy and get them attached to the principal or head of school.
- Scanned and upload the attested certificate and upload it on the website. After that submit the application.
