Australia is soon going to ban social media for 16 years or from users. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanis has announced that the government is introducing policy to protect the mental health of the children of the country. The decision is very tough. The government is preparing to implement it by next year. Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma has praised the move. Prime Minister Albanis said that social media is harming children. It is also dangerous for the youth. Such content is coming out on social media which is wandering children and youth. This law will compulsorily implement an age limit on major platforms without any exemption, making this new policy of Australia an internationally rigid policies.

Platforms like Instagram, FB, Tiktok, X (First Twitter), and YouTube will have to adopt advance methods for age verification in which things like biometric, procurement ID will be mandatory. So far no country has taken such a step where so many stringent parameters have been used to login on social media platforms. After this law is implemented, it will be their responsibility of social media platforms to prevent young users from being logged on their platforms.
