Scientists to find Little Fish Danionella Cerebrum that Makes Tone as Raucous as a Gunshot

Can you imagine that the world’s smallest fish can make a loud sound as a gun pill? This is true! Scientists have found one of the world’s smallest fish that can scream as fast as a gun. Its name is Danionella Cerebrum, which is just as big as human nails in size. It is found in the streams of Maanmar.

The length of the fish is only 12mm. Scientists are saying that this fish produces 140 decibels (DB) sounds. Rather more than that. Researchers say that this fish is the fastest -sounding fish ever. According to The Parent report, researchers used high speed camera to understand the mechanism of generating its voice. The relevant study has been published in the PNAS Journal. Scientists at Charitte University in Berlin performed this experiment, which says that fish has a unique sound production system. Which has a drumming cartilage, special rib, and a quick tired muscle.

Under the mechanism, the fish can play drumming cartilage with a fast force, and can produce such sounds. Its sound is such as an ambulance or siren. There are many other species that can cause sounds, but the special thing about Danionella Cerebrum is to be transparent. It can be seen within its body. Scientists are saying that the process of working of fish’s brain can also be seen clearly.

According to the BBC report, scientists noticed some strange things while working in Germany’s lab with fish. People were hovering around the fish tank, because they were getting voices. They were wondering where the voices were coming from. Due to this, the attention of Professor Verity Cook of the university went to this side. On studying, it was found that the voice was coming from the fish. Surprisingly, the fish was very small in size, yet she was able to create so much voice. However, scientists have not yet made it clear why these fish produce such voice.
