Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be launched on January 7, company sent invoice

As Gadgets 360 told you last week, Microsoft will launch its Surface Pro 4 Tablet in India in the first week of January. This US technology company has started sending media invites for an event to be held on January 7. It is worth noting that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella had talked about launching this device by January during his visit to India.

Remember that Surface Pro 4, considered an upgraded version of Surface Pro 3, was launched in the month of October. It starts at $ 899 (about Rs 59,000) in the international market.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablet will come with 12.3 inch (2736×1824 pixels) pixelch display. There is a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the display. The company says that its thickness is only 0.4 millimeters. A new stylus has also been launched. The company is calling it a surface pen and it will come with an eraser. The new surface can detect 1,024 points of pen pressure. Surface Penn Cortana will come with intigression.

Surface Pro 4 Tablet will come with several options for Intel’s sixth generation core processor. These include core M3, core i5 and core i7. Intel HD graphics 515, Intel HD Graphics 520 and Intel Iris Graphics will be present with these configuration respectively.

The company said that Surface Pro 4 is faster than its preceding version Surface Pro 3 to 30 per cent and Apple’s MacBook Air. The base model will have 4 GB of RAM. Variants up to 16 GB RAM will be available. Apart from this, storage up to 1 TB (start from 128 GB) will be available.

The device will come with USB 3.0 port, Ethernet port and a fingerprint scanner. It will also have two 4 mini display ports. The company said that the battery of Surface Pro 4 can last up to 9 hours. Its rear camera is 8 megapixels and the front camera is 5 megapixels.
