HP Chromebook is launched with 13g1 launch, metal body and intel core M processor

HP has so far launched several chrombooks. The company on Thursday, along with Google, introduced a new chrombook 13 laptop made of metal body. HP Chrombook 13 G1 is priced at $ 499. This laptop has been listed on the company’s US website. Laptop sales will start from this month.

Talking about the design of HP Chrombook 13 G1, this laptop made of aluminum body comes with HP’s well-known glossy logo. This laptop has many similarities like Apple’s 12 -inch MacBook. The laptop supports USB Type-C and does not have any Eydernet port. The dimensions of the laptop are 319.9×219.6×12.9 mm and weighs 1.29 grams. It is 13.1 mm thin from Apple MacBook, however, MacBook weighs just 0.92 grams.

HP claims, “This laptop designed for business use is ‘Ultra Thin’ and it has several security apps to protect sensitive data.” Also, this laptop has also claimed to have ‘first docking solution for chrombook’ in this laptop. With this feature it comes with dual-HD display, wired network access and more charging devices with USB Type-C. Apart from this, it also offers HP Elite USB-C docking station.

The Chromebook 13G1 running on Chrome OA has a 13.3-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution anti-glare display. Apart from this, it also comes with QHD+ display with (1800×3200 pixels) resolution. The laptop comes with the Six Generation Intel Core M Processor (Core M3, Core M5, Core M7) or Intel Pentium 4405 Y processor. It has a 16 GB LPDDR 3 1866 MHz RAM. Intel HD 515 is GPU for graphics.

This chrombook with a metal body has 32 GB EMMC 5.0 inbuilt storage. HP Truvision for Video Call is HD webcam. Talking about connectivity, this latest chrombook has two USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port, a USB-A (USB 3.1) port, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC and Bluetooth 4.2. The keyboard comes in full size with backlit which comes with touchpad and multi -gesture support. HP Chrombook 13 G1 has a 45 WH Lithium ion battery. The full HD display model claims to last 11.5 hours of the battery.

One of the biggest feature of this chrombook is the dual audio speaker of Band and Allofson Play Tech. Customers will get HP Elene USB-C docking stations, HP Slim Ultrabook Professional Top Load Case, USB Type-C to HDMI Adepter, USB Type-C to VGA Adepter and USB Type-C to USB 3 and DP Adepters for free.

HP Chromebook 13G1’s basal price is $ 499 while different variants are priced at $ 599, $ 819 and $ 1029 based on processor, RAM and display.
