Pushpak has used feathers. When it was released by helicopter, it returned on the runway itself. This is a big success for ISRO. After the Test flight was successful, ISRO Chief S Somnath gave information that the result has come very accurate and excellent. Pushpak is going to prove to be a milestone in the reusable rocket segment. Regarding the Pushpak (RLV-TD) mission, ISRO said that the space has succeeded in returning the rocket correctly. It tested approach and high speed landing.

Pushpak was taken to 4.5 km in the air through Indian Air Force helicopter Chinook. It was left 4 km from the runway. But Pushpak himself returned to his exact place. It came to the exact place on the runway and stopped at a halt for which it also used its brake parachute, landing gear brake.
This was Pushpak’s third Test flight, which was done on its robotic landing under odd conditions. It is being said that it may take many years to bring Pushpak to work completely. Pushpak’s successful test confirms that the cost in special missions in future will reduce the cost significantly. The rocket can be used frequently, which will reduce the expenses to a great extent. Its first experimental flight took place in 2016 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. It successfully landed on a virtual runway in the Bay of Bengal. After this it was submerged in the sea under the scheme. Its second Test was held on 2 April last year on the Chitradurga Aeronautical Test range.
